Individual Spiritual Direction

UCN partners with Soul Shepherding to offer individual spiritual direction sessions at a reduced cost.
Spiritual direction is a sacred space to slow down, pay attention, and become more aware of God’s presence and activity in your life. Unlike coaching or counseling, spiritual direction is not primarily about solving problems, creating strategies, or improving performance. It is about listening — listening to your own soul, listening to the Holy Spirit, and learning to discern where God is inviting you to receive, surrender, heal, and grow.
For pastors and ministry leaders, spiritual direction provides a safe and prayerful environment to be cared for beyond your role, responsibilities, and ministry demands. It is an invitation to tend to your life with God so that your leadership flows from a healthy and deeply rooted soul.
Ministry Coaching

Sometimes you need someone to help you see your situation from a different angle. That is the heart behind ministry coaching.
UCN ministry coaching provides pastors and leaders with a thoughtful, experienced voice to help process challenges, clarify next steps, and lead with greater wisdom and confidence. Whether you are navigating church growth, team dynamics, leadership fatigue, discipleship strategy, or a difficult season of ministry, coaching creates space for honest conversation, practical insight, and prayerful discernment.
Pastor Retreats
3 days / 2 nights — $500 per person
Twice each year, UCN offers pastors the opportunity to step away for a time of refreshing and renewal.
These retreats are guided by the UCN leadership team and are designed to help pastors rest, reconnect with God, and be encouraged by others who understand the unique weight of ministry. Our time together will include teaching, solitude, group processing, prayer, and unhurried space to simply be, breathe, and enjoy meaningful connection.

The UCN YouTube channel is a growing resource for pastors and ministry leaders who want to keep learning, growing, and leading with intentionality.
This channel will offer practical conversations, teaching, encouragement, and strategic insight for navigating the challenges of ministry. Our hope is to help pastors think deeply about leadership, discipleship, church health, and what it means to become a church that makes and multiplies disciples for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Monthly Soul Care Sessions

Our monthly soul care sessions are designed specifically for pastors.
These gatherings function like a group spiritual direction experience — a space to pause, notice, and listen for what the Holy Spirit is saying. The goal is not to gain another strategy, growth tool, or ministry tactic. The goal is to create room for our souls to connect with the Triune God.
Together, we will slow down, reflect, pray, and attend to the deeper movements of God in our lives and leadership.
UCN One Days
Quarterly gatherings
Every quarter, UCN hosts a One Day gathering for pastors to connect, learn, and be encouraged.
These 90-minute gatherings include lunch, teaching, breakout conversation, and small group prayer. Each One Day is designed to be simple, meaningful, and relational — creating space for pastors to build friendships, process ministry together, and leave encouraged for the work God has called them to do.
Format:
- 30 minutes — teaching
- 45 minutes — breakout groups
- 15 minutes — small group prayer
